SUMMARY:The Faith of the Church: I believe in the Holy Spirit
DESCRIPTION:$15-$60 suggested donation \nParticipate onsite or online \n“I believe in God…” \nThese four words are the beginning of a statement of faith that has been shared and recited by Catholics and many Christian denominations since it was first formulated in 325 AD. But more than a matter of belief\, the Nicene Creed is a profession of faith and a commitment to a life in God – Father\, Son\, and Holy Spirit. \nDuring this Jubilee of Hope\, you are invited to discover the deeper meaning of each phrase and section of the Creed\, enriching your own profession of faith. Each week\, we will delve into a different section of the Creed\, exploring contemporary insights and historical context. \n\nMarch 20: I believe in the Holy Spirit\nMarch 27: I believe in the Holy Catholic Church\n\nCome and discover the timeless truths that have united believers for centuries. All are welcome to deepen their faith and connection to this ancient declaration. \n\nWe encourage you to attend all four sessions in this series and you can mark this option when you register.\nYou can participate in-person at the Catholic Information Center or online through Zoom. To receive the link for Zoom\, please pre-register.\nSessions will be recorded. If you miss a session\, you will receive a link to the recording.\n\nPresenters \nDr. Jared Ortiz is a Professor of Religion at Hope College\, where he has taught since 2012.
