Women played significant roles in tending and sustaining the Church of the Way, the early Church post-Pentecost. These women of dedication, determination, and devotion in sharing their love for and commitment to Jesus, inspired and discipled entire communities – transforming lives by following the Way of Jesus.
Yet, many of these women, our ancestors in faith, remain in obscurity. There is much to learn about and from these women. This presentation will invite us to honor their legacy by engaging in both conversational learning and prayerful pondering as we call them by name and hear their stories. As we meet each of these women, we will draw on their wisdom and inspiration to strengthen our own dedication, determination, and devotion as disciples of the Way some 2,000 years later.
